A discussion was held with our brothers and sisters who came from Kenya to participate in the Irecha festival
On September 27, 2016, Tlomi, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Dr. Alemu Semena, and the Honorable Minister of State, Ato Denge Boru, discussed the use of the Lamun Corridor with members of the public from Kenya to celebrate Irecha together.
In their discussion, they discussed the importance of the Lamun Corridor to the people of the two countries and the importance of people-to-people relations.
Finally, members of the community from Kenya expressed their wish for the corridor to start working as soon as possible according to the mutual agreement
